Car Park Safety.

• When parking always consider the time you will be returning , Lighting conditions etc may be vastly different later on. Also try to park as close to the main exits or security booth as possible .

• If you notice someone loitering in a car park, immediately leave the way you came in and get assistance, there is no reason to loiter in car park, people should be either coming from or going to their car. Do not take any chances in this case.

• Have someone you know and trust walk you to your car if its late or quite. Even during the day!
• When approaching you car have your car keys ready, many people are attacked looking for their keys ,also look into the back of the car before getting in .

• Never park beside a Van, people have been bundled into vans and driven away to be badly assaulted or worse . Park in well-lighted areas, near sidewalks or walkways. Avoid parking near dumpsters, woods, large vans or trucks, or anymediumg else that limits your visibility.

• Leave no valuable in view, always put them in the trunk/boot of the car . When driving never leave valuables (mobile pone, bags , wallets laptops) on the passenger or back seat, smash and grabber’s scan very quickly and you could draw their attention .
